The gas filter for natural gas vehicles is a core filtering component of the fuel system for CNG (compressed natural gas) vehicles, specifically designed to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the engine. It is usually installed between the gas storage tank and the engine, and through a multi-layer precision filtration structure, it efficiently intercepts solid particles, moisture, and oil mist and other impurities in the natural gas, preventing these pollutants from entering the combustion chamber, which could cause clogging of the fuel injector, cylinder wear, or a decrease in combustion efficiency. This filter is made of stainless steel or high-strength composite materials, with the characteristics of high pressure resistance (up to 30 MPa) and corrosion resistance, and is suitable for the frequent start-stop operation of vehicles. According to the vehicle requirements, metal mesh (reusable after cleaning) or paper (high-precision one-time use) types can be selected to ensure the purity of the gas, extend the engine life, and reduce emission pollution. During regular maintenance, only the pressure difference changes need to be monitored and the filter should be replaced in time. The operation is simple and it is a key component for improving the safety and economy of CNG vehicles.
